We have a wide range of vintage, collectible and out-of-print paperbacks with a specialty in science fiction and mystery paperbacks. The books range from the Ace series, including the Ace Doubles to vintage Avon, vintage Bantam books, Dell Map books (Dell Map Backs), vintage Graphic, vintage Pocket through Zenith books. The genres range from Vintage Romance to Vintage Western (Maisie Greig to MacCloud Raine). They include some very good cover artwork including good girl art.

We have been in the book business since 1975 when Deb opened our first store front in Grand Forks, ND. Our form of doing business has changed but not our love of books!  Wayne recently retired as a reference librarian.  Now he can concentrate full time on his long standing love: pulps, vintage paperbacks and collectible paperback books.  Deb is a retired CPA. We know about books in one way or the other.  Her expertise, besides the business end, include the cozy mystery, female mystery writers, cat, garden and recipe mystery books, although she grew up reading Andre Norton, Isaac Asimov, Robert Heinlein, Anne McCaffrey, etc.  Hooked on Books began as a storefront in 1997. We closed the storefront and went online in 2000.  We started going to conventions and shows as dealers in 2009 and plan on going to many more in the future. We've enjoyed meeting many of you at the conventions. Our website was up and running in the beginning of 2009 as well so 2009 was a very busy year for us!
